Research two significant pieces of Architecture

ZAHA HADID



Zaha Hadid is the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner in 2004. She studied architecture in the London Architectural Association School of Architecture in 1972 and gained a master degree in 1977. Zaha Hadid has win a lot of international completions. In 1983, Zaha Hadid win the design of competitive bidding program of the Peak Club in Hong Kong and it was widely praised. Zaha Hadid is internationally known for her built, theoretical and academic work. Each of her dynamic and innovative projects builds on over thirty years of revolutionary experimentation and research in the interrelated fields of urbanism, architecture and design.

GUANGZHOU OPERA HOUSE


The Guangzhou Opera House is an asymmetrical non-geometric shapes, Its unique twin boulder design will enhance urban function by opening access to the riverside and dock areas and creating a new dialogue with the emerging new town. the Extension of the stands on both sides of the auditorium and balcony are overlapped and from the view of the stage, it’s like two stretched out arms. The advantage of this design is the shape and angle of internal walls can provide lateral reflections efficiently, while avoiding the interference of echo, which makes the reverb sound clear.

REGIUM WATERFRONT


Regium Coastal Museum is located in Italy about the southern port city of Reggio Calabria, it designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The museum has designed to divided into two buildings, the first buildings for the Mediterranean historical heritage pavilion, including exhibition space, art repair facility area, document library, aquarium and a library. The second building is the administrative office for the museum, it including the gym, craft workshops, shops and cinemas, as well as combination of three different structures halls.
